Murder Mystery Birthday Party

For my birthday celebration this year, my friend Annie threw a murder mystery party!
We were all from different countries, riding on a train together in the 1940's.

The theme of all black was not planned...

Holly let us all borrow her costume cigarettes so we would look legit for the 1940's.

Turns out, I was the murderer. When I got the card on the fourth round that informed me of this, I was pretty surprised! Everyone thought I was the French princess, but I actually killed her and assumed her identity. I was the person everyone thought was dead. Who could have guessed that.

Annie, as the host, made us a delicious dinner and everything! It was so great.

80's Birthday Party

For Holly and Imma's birthdays (they are in the same week) we had an 80's themed dance party! We did our best  to look like we were in that decade...

The after party party.

And then on Holly's actual birthday, we ate dinner at Station 22 and then had a mini party after with a chocolate cake.

We gave Holly a book of meaningless diagrams. It's the best book I've ever seen.

(This was also the night we would discover the game "Spaceteam" - a game for smart phone and friends of two to four. Our lives are forever changed).

Cheese Tasting Party

A couple months ago, my roommates and I hosted a cheese tasting party!
We had a complete spread of a variety of cheeses. We also had grapes, apples and grape juice to balance out the cheeses.

Biscoff and Milano cookies were also a delicious addition as our dessert.

Sorry for the blur in these pictures. (My aperture was not set correctly). They're the only ones I took of people, so I have to include them anyway.

It was a classy and delicious evening.
